I love love quotes. Not because I agree with all of them (even the ones I post), or because they make me feel warm and fuzzy inside (although sometimes they do ;)). I love them because I have no idea how I define love anymore, or whether I even think it exists. So hearing other opinions about makes me feel a little more optimistic that love just might survive my skepticism after all.

Burning Muse: i am addicted to you →
burningmuse: Staff note: I love it when writing provides this sort of honest introspection, a conversation with and analysis of oneself. And who hasn’t been wrapped up in the magnetic pull of someone’s words, unable to escape, unsure if we want to? amyyyvaughn: “Do you miss me?” You ask, smiling a…

onlinecounsellingcollege: 1. “I know how you feel.” No-one really knows how another person feels. It sound patronizing and lacking in empathy. It limits exploration of the client’s feelings, and understanding more fully how things appear to them. 2. “It will be all right.” How do you…

Top 24 Places to Live →
Just took this quiz to see where in the US I should live. As I was answering, I was pleasantly surprised that the questions were not loaded or misleading. And yet, the number one spot determined by this relatively fair and unbiased quiz was — you guessed it — Portland, OR. Along with FOUR other Oregon towns. Sheesh. Am I really that easy to read? ;)

medicalstate: The Love Competition by the Brent Hoff and the Stanford Center for Cognitive and Neurobiological Imaging. The brain is an organ of understanding, of functioning, and of expression. AMBIGUOUS TRANSPARENCY: Introspection Sublime. →
Go read more of this poetry. Seriously. Some beautiful stuff! :) I’ve seen your spine curve to align with  the shape of the horizon on early mornings  while your conscious expanded like twilight. You’ve seen all you needed to see and I’ve heard all you had to say. Let the journey marvel.
